The Natural Laws
The diet follows from these. It is not the other way round.
These are the laws the rest of my work rests on. They are not rules for eating: the diet follows from them, and a person who holds these can derive the practice without being handed a list. Everything in the Ten Principles is an application of what is written here.
The body is an intelligent, self-healing system.
It is a highly intelligent mechanism, and it works with unrestrained love in its continuous effort to detoxify, survive, and heal, even under extreme abuse from diet and lifestyle. This is not a comforting phrase. It is a description of mechanism.
Disease originates within the body, from toxicity and malnutrition, never from attack by germs.
Life generates from the condition of its environment, not from invasion by outside organisms.
Wet clay, mined below the temperature at which phosphorus cauterizes, contains organisms that change form according to what the environment requires. The terrain determines what lives in it; the question is never whether an organism is present but what conditions summoned it.
Microbes proliferate in proportion to the work available to them, and consume only damaged, weak, and dead cells.
A symptom is the body's process of resolving a condition, not the condition itself.
Pain and swelling mean circulation has increased, nutrients are arriving, toxic tissue is dissolving. Suppression stores the poison deeper and postpones the work to a weaker time.
Heat destroys the life in a substance and converts nourishment into toxicity.
Phosphorus begins to alter at 98°F; a heat-hardened mineral or fat behaves in the body as a contaminant. Fired clay is inert while raw clay is alive.
Health is the proportion of living cells in the body, and aging is the accumulation of dead ones.
Pottenger's cats required five generations on raw food to return to optimal health — in human terms, at 7.5 years per complete cellular replacement, roughly 40 years.
Detoxification precedes regeneration; the body cannot rebuild what it has not first cleaned.
A cycle may run quietly for up to two years before the body dumps the waste at once — what people call a cold or flu. That is the end of detoxification, not the beginning of disease.
Proper healing reproduces living cells; improper healing substitutes dead ones.
With sufficient nutrients the body repopulates damage with functional tissue, including nerve, bone, and gland; without them it relocates mummified cells as scar tissue, and every substitution weakens the whole.
Raw fat binds poisons and carries them out; raw protein supplies the material for new cells.
With enough raw fat, toxic cholesterol leaves through urine, bowels, and skin without reabsorption — a high reading during that process indicates elimination, not danger.
Nothing enters the cell uninvited without cost.
Nanoparticle sizing allows free-radical metals, including mercury and thallium, to penetrate cells directly, causing neurological accumulation the body cannot easily reverse. Colloidal silver is the same law in miniature: matter reduced fine enough to cross into a cell contaminates what it enters.
The skin, and every organ of elimination, is a channel to keep open, not to suppress.
The skin is the route through which 90% of toxin elimination is meant to pass, and when it is blocked the waste backs up into the organs beneath it. Every poison leaving that way damages the skin cells on its way out; that damage is the cost of the exit, not a disease of the skin.
Fever is the signal that cleanup has ended and cellular reproduction has begun.
At 100°F parasites cannot reproduce, at 101°F cells stop manufacturing virus, and from 102–106°F cellular division accelerates as long as nutrients are present.
Emotion is biochemistry, and the mind runs on the same fuel as the tissue.
The body is the temple in which the spirit lives, and no spiritual state survives a broken temple.
Rational, practical care of the body is the foundation of any genuine spiritual practice, not a distraction from it.
The body works toward its own healing at every moment, without instruction and without permission.
Those who changed nothing continued to heal unless they introduced something that stopped the process — cocaine, speed, medication, concentrated processed sugars.
Fear overrides reason, and it is manufactured deliberately by those who profit from intervention.
Each principle takes one of these laws and follows it all the way down into practice.
